Job Summary
The Quality, Inventory Control Associate analyzes existing inventory and resolves inbound discrepancies in order to drive the operational efficiency of pharmacy warehouse operations. The Senior Coordinator validates inbound shipments, places electronic orders, creates standard inventory reports and forecasts, and leads regular cycle counts. By ensuring the quality and efficiency of inventory management, this job contributes to customer satisfaction and minimizing the facility?s expenses.
Responsibilities?
Audit merchandise for inbound and outbound to ensure quality assurance
Conducts regular cycle counts
Monitor inventory levels continually and run reports from database to analyze product movement and expiration data. Including ?expired product report?, ?product data change report? and ?sales order recon?
Evaluate quantity discrepancies, quality issues and exceptions both inbound and outbound, and enter issues into database and
Contact manufacturers to identify and resolve any issues and, as necessary, escalates the issue to Manager.
Monitor and manage expired product, customer returns and transfer of product
Perform additional QIC functions as required.
Qualifications
2-4 years of experience, preferred
High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment (e.g cherry picker and reach truck)
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and experience with warehouse management systems.

What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.
Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.
