Job Summary:
The Manager of Fixed Assets, Inventory, Shipping, and Receiving Services reports to the Director of Auxiliary Services and is the subject matter expert at the college for these services. This position will establish, administer, and maintain tracking of the college’s assets, inventory, buildings and equipment by working closely with Purchasing, Accounting, and ITS to ensure all assets are properly valued and accounted for. This will also include managing and supervising the annual inventory processing for all college assets. This position is responsible for the supervision of the Shipping & Receiving Department which includes full-time, part-time, and/or student support. This position is responsible for the oversight of day-to-day inventory, shipping, and receiving for the college to include managing, planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the condition of fixed assets, identify capitalized and sensitive equipment acquisitions and disposals. Responsible for reporting for external and internal users including auditors of college assets, tagging, inventory, and equipment purchases.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university or Associate’s Degree and three years of experience in Fixed Asset Management, Inventory Control, Receiving & Shipping Services.
Current Michigan Driver’s License with less than 3 points.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
Demonstrated work experience working on a college, university, or college campus.
Demonstrated work experience in Fixed Asset Management, Inventory Control, Receiving & Shipping Services within higher education, government, or logistics/operations sectors.
