The Commercial Furniture Specialist is responsible for managing tactical procurement support functions and a specific assigned tasks in the office and construction project site(s). This role responsible for the commercial furniture as required per project and growing this category. This role actively collaborates with suppliers, project teams, Architects and Owners to monitor quality assurance and delivery status. Travel is required to job site installations.
This position will support various projects nationwide, however, it is an in-office role that is located in Des Moines, Iowa.
We are looking for:
2+ years of Furniture experience required
Interior Design and/or Space Planning experience preferred
Ability to read floor plans and do take off's
Experience, Skills and Technology required identified in the job description.

Responsibilities include:
Create project procurement plans to support Supply Chain activities for construction projects.
Prepare RFI/RFP packages, evaluate proposals and responses, perform commercial analysis and propose vendor/supplier recommendations.
Perform document management and project administration duties.
Represent Supply Chain during project specification and development phases of assigned construction project(s).
Implement strategic sourcing principles of consolidation, standardize and substitute to reduce project total costs, project schedule and improve delivered value.
