Texas Christian University invites applications for a Professor of Professional Practice in Supply Chain Management (open rank) in the Neeley School of Business beginning August 2026.
Description The Information Systems & Supply Chain Management Department at Neeley includes a vibrant mix of scholars and practice-oriented faculty who embrace teaching, industry engagement, and student interaction. We offer undergraduate majors in Business Information Systems and in Supply & Value Chain Management, as well as graduate programs in Supply Chain Management and Business Analytics. The Center for Supply Chain Innovation promotes close connections with the many Fortune 500 companies in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
We are seeking accomplished professionals with a passion for teaching, mentoring students, and building bridges between academia and practice. A key responsibility of this position will be to serve as course coordinator for the undergraduate Introduction to Supply Chain Management core course, ensuring excellence and consistency in curriculum and student learning outcomes. This position may also include responsibilities as the Undergraduate Supply Chain Program Manager. In this capacity, the Manager supports the faculty-led governance structure by facilitating curriculum development, overseeing assessment and accreditation processes, and serving as the primary coordinator among faculty, students, advisors, administrators, and external stakeholders.

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have significant industry experience in supply chain management or a related area, as well as a demonstrated ability to translate professional expertise into high-impact classroom learning. Applicants with prior teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level and strong professional networks are especially encouraged to apply.
