POSITION SUMMARY: Transports inpatients and outpatients to and from their destinations safely within the hospital. Assists patients and patient care staff.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High School or equivalent required.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Basic Life Support (BLS) issued through American Heart Association required, or must be attained within two weeks of employment.

Ability to retain composure under stress, to move quickly but effectively to meet patient care needs

EXPERIENCE: Prior related work experience in medical environment preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Subject to stressful professional relationships. Working hours vary, with flexibility needed to meet unexpected changes in schedule and emergencies. Stooping/Bending: frequently, Squatting/Crouching: occasionally, Crawling/Kneeling: occasionally, Manual dexterity: continuously, Standing: occasionally, Walking: continuously, Lifting/Pushing/Pulling: Frequently up to 100 lbs. Carrying: Occasionally up to 100 lbs.
