We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory and Sales Order Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day inventory transactions, maintaining accurate stock records through cycle counts, and supporting sales order processing and follow-up to ensure timely fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
Perform daily inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, and adjustments.
Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Reconcile variances and maintain accurate stock levels in the system.
Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing teams to resolve inventory issues.
Sales Order Processing
Enter and update sales orders accurately in the ERP system.
Monitor open orders to ensure timely fulfillment and shipping.
Follow up with production, shipping, and sales teams to track order status.
Communicate proactively with customers or sales representatives regarding order updates or delays.
Work Order Processing
Enter and manage work orders accurately within the ERP system.
Coordinate with the production team to monitor build schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
Follow up with sales and customer service teams to provide updates on order status and delivery timelines.
Identify and help resolve any production or scheduling delays that could impact customer delivery.
Data Accuracy & Reporting
Maintain up-to-date records of product movements and adjustments.
Prepare inventory and order status reports as needed.
Support month-end and year-end inventory reconciliations.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and warehouse departments to ensure smooth order and inventory flow.
Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in inventory control, order management, or related administrative roles.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Skills
Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.
Knowledge of cycle counting procedures and inventory reconciliation.
Customer service or sales support background a plus.
