Transport Comm Specialist
The pediatric critical care transport team is a unique business within Nemours, consisting of a multi-disciplinary group of health care professionals who are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (24/7) to stabilize and transport sick and injured children from referring facilities to this hospital, as well as transport patients from this facility to another dependent on that child's medical needs. Crucial to this operation is 24/7 access to the communications center. The Transport Communication Specialist is primarily responsible for ensuring accurate and timely communications among members of the Transport Team, referring physicians and appropriate personnel of referring facilities, referring and accepting physicians and other interacting departments within Nemour
