PATIENT TRANSPORTER
A resume is required for consideration for this position. Applications received without a resume will not be considered.Transportation staff will arrive at the unit with the transport vehicle (i.e. stretcher or wheelchair) specified at the time of request, stop at the Nursing station to retrieve chart and/or card, report to patient room, greet the patient by name, identify the patient by armband, introduce themselves to the parents, patient and nursing staff as appropriate. Assist the patient and/or nursing with the physical transfer of the patient onto the vehicle and transport patient to the appointment. Bodies of deceased patients will be
