Position Summary:
The Signage Logistics Manager is a shared position between production and MARCOM. The primary Goal of this position is to oversee the physical installation of signage and ensuring it is delivered and assembled properly to ensure there is a timely distribution for events on campus. This is an in-person position.
Reports to the Director of Print Services and the AVP of events and special projects. Will work in conjunction with their teams, specifically the Sr. Mailroom Operator and Director of Events, to smoothly ensure the flow of operations.
Position Responsibilities:
Attend Events/ Production weekly meeting to assess needs for campus events
Serve on the Committee on Ceremonial Occasions and assist with signage and logistics for all ceremonies
Assists with ensuring the brand experience is represented properly
Submits MARCOM design requisitions for campus branding, signage, and banners
Manage coordination from print assembly, delivery, and placements as directed by the events department, and return to storage as directed
Be on-site liaison for all campuses as needed
Organize all hardware and fabrics as part of the production print process
Ensure the signage is ready and in place based on the event reports and that the branding is consistent
Ensure all frames and fabrics are returned in proper condition
Submits requisitions to Maccabuy for print and signage purchases on behalf of both departments
Oversee and manage all campus poster displays on both the Wilf and Beren campuses
Assists with undergraduate Cap & Gown Distribution logistics and support, including signage as well as attire distribution
Organize intercampus and logistics efficiently to minimize hiccups and maximize the execution of plans. This includes coordinating with other teams to ensure appropriate directions are given from the events team to facilities for branding placements
Advanced planning of supplies needed and best acquisition practices from external vendors
Execute the intercampus delivery route as needed, safely and effectively
Experience & Education Background:
BA degree or equivalent experience
Basic knowledge of the printing process, embroidery, and heat transfer garment production
Organizational experience in a dynamic setting.
Must have a valid driver's license
Experience embroidering garments
Experience with heat pressing garments is a plus
Skills & Competencies:
Clean driving record
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
Team player, ready to support where and as needed due to the nature of diverse jobs
Ability to project departmental supply needs based on usage to avoid bottlenecks
Embroidery and heat transfer skills
Ability to work in person
Salary Range:
$65,000 - $70,000
