Under direct supervision from the Administrative Services Manager, manages and organizes department/division equipment ensuring efficient allocation, maintenance, and tracking, often coordinating with various departments and vendors to meet operational needs. Orders supplies, equipment and services for department and divisional operations. Serves as fleet manager and liaisons with the Transportation and Traffic Management department for department and divisional vehicles. Arranges for the repair, maintenance, and cleaning of department and divisional vehicles. Maintains department and divisional vehicle records. Updates and maintains database records and other files on equipment purchases, users, repairs, warranties and manuals; develops and implements guidelines for maintaining inventory levels and reorder points. Tracks, maintains, and confirms all inventory equipment listed from OSU Asset Management. Maintains selected equipment service agreements. Produces reports regarding inventory and equipment use as requested. Serves as Building Coordinator for Blankenship Hall, working closely with Facilities Operations and Development to maintain and improve building services and conditions and reporting issues to Service2Faciliites when repairs are needed.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Valid Ohio drivers license required.
Desired Qualifications:
Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred. Knowledge of inventory control, safety practices. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel). Familiarity with software such as: Smartsheet, Workday. Knowledge of University policies and procedures desired.
Unusual Working conditions:
This position is identified as Essential, whose presence is required regardless of the existence of an emergency condition.
Subject to 24-hour call in and weekend work. Overtime may be required for emergency response situations. Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
The target hiring range for this job profile is $19.09 - $25.10. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
