We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our team as an Outbound Sales Representative. The Outbound Sales Representative will contact prospects and customers to sell products and services. This role is responsible for making a high volume number of cold calls to leads and generating sales and revenue. The Outbound Sales Representative will educate customers about our products, respond to concerns and questions, meet productivity goals and provide backup to Inbound Sales Representatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Contact prospective customers by both telephone and email
Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers
Continually meet or exceed sales targets by selling products to new and existing customers
Provide a high level of customer service and education to customers about products
Maintain an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales
Strategically negotiate with potential and existing customers to close sales
Attend networking events, community events and trade shows to generate leads
Provide backup to Inbound Sales team
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous working experience as an Outbound Sales for 3 years
Demonstrable experience growing a sales pipeline, nurturing and qualifying leads, and guiding prospects through a multi-step sales process
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Insatiable drive and appetite for learning and growth - always looking to learn and become more
Resilience when facing rejection (this is sales after all… you will be rejected often)
Fearless attitude and a hunter mentality
High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are a must
