INFICON is looking for a Lean Supply Chain/Procurement Manager to build and lead a dynamic team in a globally operating high-tech company. The Lean Supply Chain/Procurement Manager will spearhead transformative change in culture, supply concepts, processes and technology to ensure reliability, flexibility and world class lead times for our customers. The ideal candidate has multi-year experience in lean supply chains, is a respected leader, coach and communicator, is able to define a vision, ambitious targets and projects, and lead execution towards fast results.
Lead and drive customer orientation
Develop and lead the supply chain planning and procurement team
Strong involvement in make-or-buy strategy and decisions
Lead design for supply, supply base and supplier development/contracting/management, tactical/operational supply chain planning/execution and buying.
Implement and further improve the new supply concept assuring quality, market required lead times, speed and flexibility through high-performance processes and IT tools.
Exchange and collaboration with worldwide business units of INFICON
Bachelors Degree with 7+ Years continuous experience with progressive responsibility
Minimum 3+ years management experience in the supply chain function in a lean environment
Demonstrated success in developing, leading, coaching a team in supply/procurement and strong team and cross functional communication
Demonstrated success in leading breakthrough/improvement projects: ambitious targets, structured approach, enthuse/convince people, cross functional communication, fast results
Extensive knowledge and experience in development, implementation and performance management of a pull replenishment system
Experience in lean procurement/manufacturing/logistics: strategic/tactical/operational supply chain planning/execution and buying, process design and management, demand-pull, continuous flow, kanban, vendor managed inventory, and Information- and ERP-systems (SAP) in a global operating high-tech company.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or higher
Experience with SAP, information systems
