We are looking to on-board an Lead Indirect Procurement Buyer on our Strategic Procurement team! This is a highly strategic role that develops and executes a comprehensive North American indirect procurement strategies by investigating, analyzing, and taking action on buying and savings opportunities for the organization.

What we need from you?
The ability to skillfully negotiate with vendor communities.
Excellent understanding of procurement principles.
Ability to recognize savings and cost-avoidance opportunities and provides actionable insight supporting strategic initiatives
Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and internet software applications.
Advanced knowledge of business software applications.
Highly analytical, detail-oriented and organized.
Leading candidate will have:
Associates degree in Business required. (Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred).
Five or more years experience with indirect procurement OR with systems, operations, finance or another supply chain discipline.
Experience with Transportation (fleet related) contracts a plus.
Face to face supplier negotiation experience is a plus.
