The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Director Integrated Customer Logistics Consumer Health, are to:
Plan, develop and execute Consumer Health Strategic Customer Service and Operational Plans in the following areas:
Lead the five Consumer Health Customer Logistics Teams (Walmart, CVS & Drug Wholesale, Walgreens, Diversified, Grocery and E-commerce) comprised of direct and indirect cross functional resources in support of Bayer Consumer Health customers representing over $3 Billion in annual sales (Gross Sales Less Returns);
Provide a single point of accountability for the Bayer Consumer Health Senior Sales Executive, and to serve as an active member of the Consumer Health Sales Leadership Team;
Lead all Consumer Health Customer Logistics Annual Strategic Planning by customer and the execution of prioritized initiatives;
Build strong and sustainable customer relationships at Senior and Executive operational levels;
Strategically manage Consumer Health Customer Logistics resources to work as a high performing team, and to deliver differentiating, disruptive and sustainable operational solutions across the customer value chain;
Be accountable for the overall strategic direction of Vendor/Customer Managed Inventory programs, supporting each Customer Logistics team and their responsibility of inventory management from Customer Distribution Centers to the customer’s retail store ($250-300 Million);
Lead efforts to improve overall customer value chain operational performance by $5-8 Million with stronger operational logistics and vendor compliance performance;
Serve as a full time member of the Customer Logistics Leadership Team;
Be accountable for overall assessment of the evolving customer segmentation requirements and determine Customer Logistics resources (both direct and indirect) for support model.

IN-Mishawaka preferred, but open to working from Bayer field offices in Plano-Atlanta-Bentonville-Elk Grove Village

Bachelor’s degree in related field with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience with Customer Value Chains, Inventory Management and Customer Service and Logistics in Consumer Products Goods, Over the Counter or major customer channels; at least ten (10) years in management;
Excellent and demonstrated understanding of customer/manufacturing relationship engagement;
Strong understanding of the P&L and balance sheet;
Experience in inventory dynamics, forecasting, transportation, warehouse management, customer service and order management;
Demonstrated interpersonal skills; is highly adaptable and can work successfully with different people/companies across multiple departments;
Ability to balance external/internal focus with exceptional ability to prioritize and have a strong track record of consistently delivering results;
Process management skills and a solid understanding of process improvement approaches;
Demonstrated progressive leadership/management responsibility while managing cross-functional teams;
Strong communication/presentation skills (oral and written);
Ability to travel up to 50%.
Master’s degree or MBA;
Customer, Field Sales, and/or HQ Sales/Marketing experience.
